Zebra is a hard rock band that came together in 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana. It features Randy Jackson (vocals/guitar), Felix Hanemann more...(bass/keyboards) and Guy Gelso (drums). Their mainstream debut on Atlantic Records was in 1983, highlighted by the singles "Tell Me What You Want" and "Who's Behind The Door". Like Twisted Sister, Zebra cut their teeth on the East Coast club circuit, frequently playing at clubs on Long Island, NY. Zebra started their career by playing covers of Led Zeppelin, Moody Blues and Rush songs: it was their early fans' reaction to their Led Zeppelin renditions that helped convince the band to bring their act to New York. They had introduced their original material into their cover sets years before they were signed to Atlantic Records, including "The La La Song", "Free" and "Bears" (originally entitled "The Bears are Hibernating"). Zebra had been noticed as an original act to contend with by local colleges and even had some of their early original performances recorded by Long Island FM radio station WBAB, culminating in the inclusion of one of their songs on a release of "WBAB's Homegrown Album", which commemorated some of the station's best local acts and performances culled from their on-air "Homegrown Hour" program. The band continued to tour throughout the 1980s and 1990s, and in 2003 released their first album of all-new material since 1986. Performing songs from their hit new album Grand National as well as some old favourites, the John Butler Trio rocked Fed Square before heading off on their world tour. The John Butler Trio is primarily an eclectic roots/jam band led by guitarist and vocalist John Butler. Two of the band's albums Three (2001) and Living 2001-2002 (2003) have gone platinum in Australia and reached the top ten of the Australian album charts in those years. The 2004 album Sunrise Over Sea debuted at number one on the Australian charts on March 15, 2004 reaching gold record status in its first week on sale. Their most recent album,Grand National was released in March 07.

Beach House have revealed the details of their third album, their first release on new label Sub Pop. Teen Dream will be released on January 26, 2010 on CD and LP. It was produced and engineered by Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, Grizzly Bear) Beach House, Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand, have been playing music forever, each since childhood in Baltimore, Philadelphia, and France . Beach House formed in the summer, it was very late at night and there was a lot of heat. Their songs start simple and grow organically like tiny skeletons that multiply layers of necessary flesh. In the Beach House world, outside influences have been purely atmospheric. There are many groups and artists that have entranced the duo: Zombies, Brian Wilson, Neil Young, Big Star, Chris Bell, the list goes on; however, there isn't one particular group or artist that Beach House admires more than another. By not forcing the way their songs come to fruition and by allowing all of their ideas to exist and play freely, an otherworldly space is created: organs, slide guitars, reverb, harmony, layers, accidents, echoes and melodies stand by themselves like the ones in everyone's childhood memories.

I don't know much about her, but I do know that this song is AWESOME, and the PV is COOL!! I LOVE the dark theme of the video, totally awesome, she's really hot, and I like her craziness. I did see a picture of her normal, and she looks soo innocent and cute. I like the effects and just everything about this PV. It's cool when she transforms into that crazy looking form, so cool. I like the beginning, how she sticks her tongue out. I don't think this song is out yet, I think it comes out at the end of this month. Can't wait to listen to her album. John Butler Trio [Live at Wave Aid] - Zebra John Butler jumped at the chance to give something back at the Wave Aid benefit concert held in Sydney in January 2005 for victims of the Boxing Day tsunami. The group joined a host of Australia's frontline acts including iconic political musicians Midnight Oil and Silverchair to raise money and awareness for the plight of hundreds of thousands of people caught up innocently in possibly the world's largest natural disaster. The Wave Aid Tsunami Relief Concert, co-organised by John Butler's manager Phil Stevens, raised over two million dollars and this figure continues to grow through DVD sales.
